Configure NTP on ESXi from VMware vSphere

Table of contents

Network Time Protocol (NTP) is a internet protocol to synchronize the clocks of the computer systems through the routing of packets in networks with latency variable. NTP uses UDP like your transport layer, using the port 123. It is designed to resist the effects of variable latency

Configuring/modifying NTP on an ESXi server is very easy, simply we press on the server which we want to modify > configurar > time setting

Ntp00000000000000000001

It opens a wizard in which it allows us to configure, once configured we have to restart the service for the changes to apply.

Ntp00000000000000000002

All the best
